摘要:MDS array codes offer efficient node repair in the distributed storage systems. However, existing constructions often lack flexibility in the choice of sub-packetization level. In this talk, we propose a new family of MDS array codes using
-pseudo-circulant matrices and a
-GCD constraint on the defining polynomials of
. The key innovation is a punctured index set
of size
, which allows the sub-packetization to beadjusted freely. Notably, our construction can yield binary codes with length up to 256 and sub-packetization 8 for the first time. Moreover, the derived MDS array codes can be converted into good linear codes suitable for correcting both burst and random bit errors.
报告人简介:
吕京杰,东莞理工学院助理教授、硕士生导师。2011年于中国人民解放军空军工程大学获博士学位,随后进入清华大学从事博士后研究工作,于2023年出站后加盟东莞理工学院。其主要研究方向包括存储编码与量子纠错码等,已在IEEE TIT、ISIT等信息论与编码领域主流期刊与会议上发表论文30余篇。目前主持国家自然科学基金青年项目及广东省自然科学基金面上项目。
